Facebook bans the Jabberbox Designs business page

We have been notified by Facebook that they have taken down our fan page on Facebook because of an alleged infringement complaint. After doing some research on their infringement policy and other FB pages that have been taken down, we’ve came to the conclusion that it is a bogus complaint. Since Facebook’s infringement policy is so generic and weak, it is simply an easy back door hack for anyone to take down another’s FB page.

We will be submitting another press release on this that will be distributed to 8000 news syndications. You can also read more about this at Inner Geek Central where I’ve posted an article on the entire bit. If you were a fan on our Facebook page and can no longer view it or receive news updates about Jabberbox Designs, this is why. We have contacted Facebook both via e-mail and phone but have had no response. From the research we have done on this and the multiple other companies that have had their page banned, it doesn’t look like an easy resolution. We have came to the conclusion that 99% of these bannings are bogus. Jabberbox Designs will keep you updated on the saga.

Jabberbox Designs has shipped out a few pre-orders of the Jawbox. We were happy to get them in the mail finally and find out what the end users think once they receive them. A few customers that ordered the Jawbox bluetooth carrying case for the Jawbone have said that they’ve lost their Jawbones in the past and this was the reason for ordering our case. It’s funny how they can disappear so mysteriously. I had lost my Jawbone Icon for eight months, (thankfully I had my Jawbone Prime as a back up.) After thinking it was gone forever and about ready to order Jawbone’s new generation headset, the Era, the Icon was found.

Another customer, Andy, said he had put his black Jawbone headset on the seat of a rental car (black leather seat) and left it in the rental when he returned the car. They’re small and sneaky like that, put it in a Jawbox and your Jawbone has no place to hide!

The lids have arrived and we will start assembly on the Jawboxes. We have a few pre-orders that have came in and will be shipping those out today. We have a limited number of units on this short production run so get your order in to grab one. The Jawbox bluetooth headset carrying case is the first on the market of its kind. We are very happy with the end results of the look and lid functionality.
